Hampshire Cricket Board Programme for boys and girls aged between 12 and 14 years of age

So far, over 100 boys and girls aged between 12 and 14 years of age have taken part in our 2024 Hampshire Champions Programme.
If your child was unable to attend the dates during February half-term, we have additional dates which replace the same activity in February. This means that your child will have attended the same event/content as the children during February, leading into the additional activities taking place at the Utilita Bowl during the second week of April.

o 3rd April 9am - 4pm @ Romsey School
o 4th April 9am - 4pm @ The Vyne School
The programme aims to provide numerous opportunities for the children to learn from our experienced team of community coaches and go back and support with volunteering back at their club.
We aim to train, provide the children an opportunity to volunteer at the Utilita Bowl and also be recognised for the efforts by offering the following:
• Coaching and officiating
• Invite to come and support the Hampshire Cricket Junior Members Day at Utilita Bowl (10th April) and additional workshops after.
• Invite to come and watch/support the Hampshire Men’s 1st XI team for the first day of the County Championship game vs Lancashire (12th April)
• At least one opportunity to support Hampshire Cricket Board staff during the Hampshire Hawks’ T20 Blast campaign at our very popular pre-match skills challenge, and watch the game after
• Attend a reward and recognition event, celebrating junior cricket and volunteering during the Metro Bank One Day Cup game vs Lancashire (4th August)
• Receive a Champions T-shirt
• Invite to other opportunities to support Hampshire Cricket Board, Hampshire Cricket, and ECB events (subject to availability)
*All staff appropriately, qualified, DBS checked and safeguarding trained.
The cost to attend the programme is £30 per child and the link to register is below. The registration deadline is the 27th March.
